Dr. med. Annegret Sandig

Since my medical studies, I have been guided by the wish to see people in their full individuality and to practice medicine in a way that recognizes the interplay of physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions. Alongside my conventional medical training, I deepened my knowledge in traditional healing methods and, during my clinical work at the Ita Wegman Clinic and the part-time anthroposophical medical training program, obtained the FMH qualification in anthroposophical extended medicine. This additional training has profoundly shaped my understanding of the connection between health and an individual’s life context.

As a board-certified specialist in General Internal Medicine, I view primary care as relational medicine – a form of medical collaboration grounded in presence, appreciation and a careful diagnostic attitude. It is important to me to support people in strengthening their self-awareness and sense of agency. When beneficial, I integrate creative and body-oriented therapies as well as external applications into my work.

After eight years in my own practice, I am delighted to bring my experience to the Heart-Based Center – a place where medical professionalism and a heart-oriented approach come together to accompany people on their path toward greater stability, strength and clarity.
